Caption Contest Legal Speak
By posting a comment in the “Caption Contest” Facebook photo album within the Campus Progress group you agree to the contest rules, as contained in this announcement. Only one caption (as a Facebook comment) per photo will be considered. If more than one comment is made on a particular photo, only the first posted comment will be considered. Selection of contest winners lies within the sole discretion of Campus Progress. Entries will be judged based on factors including humor, creativity, and originality. Explicit, inappropriate, overly-offensive comments and/or unnecessary personal attacks will not be considered. To be eligible, you must submit your entry by 11:59 a.m. EST on April 24. 2009.
Employees, consultants, and interns of the Center for American Progress may enter, but are not eligible to win. Each entrant consents to Campus Progress publicizing his or her actual name and caption. Prizes are non-transferable.
Judging will occur by April 31, 2009. Winners will be notified by phone or email and will have one week to claim their prize. Failure to claim a prize will result in forfeiture. Campus Progress reserves the right to award unclaimed prizes.
International participants are encouraged, but Campus Progress reserves the right to withhold awarding prizes to participants outside of the 50 States due to shipping costs.
By inputting comments to the Caption Contest, you are certifying that you are not violating copyright, trademark, or other rights held by third-parties. You also disclaim any legal rights regarding satisfaction with the prize. You also consent to our Terms of Use.
