It will be tough to keep this under 140 characters...
During Campus Progress’ 2009 National Conference, staring at your phone during a speech wasn’t rude- it was a compliment. It is no surprise that at a gathering of nearly 1,500 young progressives, Twitter was a ubiquitous tool for reporting, observing, communicating, and of course, making a few jokes. So
@CampusProgress thought it would only be proper to recognize a few outstanding Tweeters.
Awards will be given out in the following categories:
Top Reporting: Recognizing consistent and in-depth Twitter coverage on the speakers, events, attendees, and all aspects of the Conference.
Top Advocate: Recognizing a Tweeter for incorporating their own voice and activism into their #CPNC experience.
Top Organization: Recognizing the organization who best informed followers on the Conference while representing their cause.
Funniest Tweet: For the one that really cracked us up.
So without further ado (and please hold applause untill the end)...
