Samantha Sewell

Samantha Sewell currently works as the Midwest & South Central Campus Organizer for the Feminist Majority Foundation. Sewell graduated from the University of North Texas, where she headed the Southern Global Women’s and Human Rights conference and was president of her school’s Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance. She also interned with NARAL in Denton and co-founded the Texas Equal Access Fund, which helps assist low-income women with funding their abortions in the North Texas area. In the fall of 2006 Sewell worked in South Dakota for two months to help defeat the abortion ban through the FMF’s Get Out Her Vote program. Before coming to FMF, she worked at the Gender Public Advocacy Coalition as the Youth Program Director.
