The STAND (A Student Anti-Genocide Coalition) chapters at Queens University of Charlotte, University of North Carolina – Charlotte, and Davidson College, alongside several Mecklenburg County middle and high schools, are hosting the founder and director of the Genocide Intervention Network, Mark Hanis. Mark is a renowned and dynamic keynote speaker, and a figurehead for the anti-genocide movement.
This event is free and open to the public. Sudanese cuisine and refreshments from Chick-File will be served.
