Beverly Fish
Beverly Fish has been a member of the National Organization for Women since 1974, and has been the Ann Arbor/Washtenaw County chapter president, on and off, since 1982. She has spent her career working on the local level in various capacities in the women’s rights movement including work at the Safehouse Center, a local non-profit dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault in Washtenaw County, Planned Parenthood, and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. Her groundbreaking work with the Safehouse Center has been featured on PBS, among other media outlets.
Beverly has a master’s degree in Women’s Studies and History from Eastern Michigan University, and teaches Women’s Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
