Media Bootcamp at Virginia Power Shift 2008

Media Boot Camp teaches students the skills they needs to take their campaign to the next level. This includes a tutorial on how to write a media advisory/press release, talk to the press effectively, target television and radio sources, reach out to pertinent blogs and tap the full range of media outlets, including ethnic media. The training will be presented by Tommaso Boggia, Climate Advocacy Associate at Campus Progress and Richard Graves, Contributing Editor at It’s Getting Hot in Here.
