“Immokalee: From Slavery to Freedom" Film Screening at UNC-Chapel Hill

Campus Progress and members of Alianza at UNC-Chapel Hill are screening Immokalee: From Slavery to Freedom, a film about the conditions of tomato farmworkers in Florida and the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW). Romeo Ramirez from the CIW will be speaking after the screening, along with Meghan Cohorst of Student Action with Farmworkers.
A free Mexican dinner will be served before the screening and discussion.
This event is free and open to the public.
