P.W. Singer

Dr. Peter Warren Singer is Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and Director of the Project on U.S. Policy Towards the Islamic World. He is the youngest Senior Fellow in Brookings 80-year history. He is the author of two award winning books, Corporate Warriors: The Rise of the Privatized Military Industry and Children at War. Dr. Singer has worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense-Balkans Task Force, Harvard University, Duke University, and the International Peace Academy. He has served as a commentator on national security issues for a variety of media outlets, including ABC Nightline, CBS 60 Minutes, FoxNews, CNN, Al Jazeera, and the NBC Today Show. He has a BA in Public Policy from Princeton and a PhD in Political Science from Harvard.
