Women in Washington: A Progressive Gala at The University of Chicago

Please join us for an exciting and enlightening evening with prominent activists and intellectuals. The evening features famous feminist, writer and women’s rights advocate, Gloria Steinem, who will deliver the keynote address. The evening also consists of discussions that explore women of color in politics, with Rosa Clemente, Maria Teresa Petersen, Pamela Bozeman-Evans and Robyn Spencer, as well as discussion about the politics of women’s health with Shelby Knox, Kirsten Moore and Nikki Skies. Amina Norman-Hawkins from the Chicago Hip Hop Initiative and Nilkki Skies will be performing at the event.
