How do you justify going after Iran when "our" guy, Maliki, brought them in to begin with??
Since the typical media mantra that assumes Democrats will never be able to agree on anything is beginning to again pick up steam, I thought I'd come up with a way that might utilize a number of Dems and Progressives who would make up my Dream Team cabinet. I'm leaving out the Pres. and the V.P. for the moment just to make this interesting.

So, here goes. Just a few thoughts were I'm trying to incorporate those running for the presidency. I'm certain this list will pretty much be my own work of art and no one elses. However, consider:

White House Chief of Staff: Barrack Obama

Department of Veteran Affairs: Jack Murtha

Department of Housing and Urban Development: John Edwards

Office of Management and Budget: Henry Waxman

Secretary of Education: Maxine Waters

Un Ambassador--President Bill Clinton

Some of these obviously overlap and became a matter of particularities. Therefore I've included the same name for different agencies:

Secretary of Defense--Wesley Clark, John Kerry, Murtha??

Department of Commerce, Labor, Agriculture and U.S. Trade Representative: Byron Dorgan, George Miller, John Edwards, Bill Richardson

Secretary of State--Jo Biden, Carl Levin, Bill Nelson, Richardson Hillary Clinton (not as crazy as some assume)

Department of the Interior and/or Environmental Protection Agency: Al Gore

There are more of course. Gotta go for now.
We all know that Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced her presidential bid. What I've just learned has just come in fresh off the wires.

According to the Weekly World News tabloid she has already picked her running mate....and the winner is.......

BIGFOOT!!!

at least that's what the cover of Weekly World News says and who disagrees with them, huh???

I'll provide a scan of the cover as soon as I can.
Absolutely unbelievable.

If you've been watching C-SPAN at all today you will have had the opportunity to hear the thoughts of Rep. Steve King--Republican from Iowa in regards to the 100 hour Democratic Blitzkrieg. In short, Representative King feels emboldened to stand up and take on the Democrats by giving his perspective and interpretation of the Democrat's agenda.

He begins by assuming that it's noble to be interested in making such a difference specifically by actually taking Congress role of accountability and responsibility to heart.

But, that is where the praise ends. And it ends within the first minute of Rep. King's press conference. From here he goes on to explain just how far Democrats are going to deceive the public by endorsing those issues which American citizens have asked for repeatedly, often in a bi-partisan spirit.

Rep. King continues posits the notion that the 100 hour agenda needs the guidance of the GOP in order to follow "real time" vs. "Pelosi time". According to King, who apparently has been sitting in the back row of the House and Senate with a stopwatch, there's some significant difference between the 100 hour timeframe that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats assume and his own interpretation. And so--Rep. King offers to assist----no, not in reference to any bills or policies---but in order to teach Nancy Pelosi how to read a clock.

Rep. King, now that's some due diligence. Clearly, if the Domino's pizza delivery guy rings your doorbell a second after the 30 minute timeframe, you get your pizza free. And so here's my suggestion for a new bill in honor of you.

Let's call it the Domino doctrine. No, this doesn't refer to U.S. military policy in the Middle East or in Vietnam. Rather, this bill will penalize those who--by actually showing up to work to get something accomplished--run a second over the 100 hour mark. Like Domino's promise, this bill will then make all efforts a moot point the very second the legislative process passes the 100 hour mark.

Now that's something to be proud of.
"HEAD-ON...apply directly to the forehead."

"HEAD-ON...apply directly to the forehead."

.....uugghhh sorry. I just can't get that stupid commercial out of my head.
