MTSU Students Bill of Rights

Just to add to the current discussions, at Middle Tennessee State University last sping the Students Bill of Rights passed by a very large margin. The bill is very similar to the one listed in the website:
Link.
What is scary is that the vagueness of the language in the bill can be extended to even students. So if students and the professor were having a political discussion in class and a student didn't agree, then the student can work to fire the professor and say that it was a hostile environment.

The war on freedom goes on before that. Now, children are told not to be critical of the government. I've heard stories from parents that say that their children have come home blindly loving the President.

They should encourage patriotism and not ignorance. (I'm not saying if you love the President, you are ignorant). But, we are not doing a good job teaching our children to question authority in a productive manner.

If you want to know why there is apathy in politics, it's because debate is not encouraged in schools. No one is challanging beliefs anymore. College is not just about job training. It's life training.

This rant brought to you by Jess.

Thank You

I have been trying to find a group like this on the web.

Sadly, Conservatives have done a better job of getting their "intellectuals" on to college campuses. What a relief to see this online! Progressives need a voice on campus.

Last year, our university's student programing and a conservative university think tank funded D'Sousa's visit. Now we have the resources to invite forward thinkers.

I hope more groups such as this pop up.

Thank you to those who worked to put this together!
