    <title>Horowitz Watch</title>
    <link>http://www.campusprogress.org/page/community/group_rss/horowitz/html</link>
    <description>
 Conservative activist David Horowitz doesn&#039;t agree with the political views of a tiny fraction of the professors teaching at America&#039;s colleges and universities. So he published a book smearing them and started running around the country urging state legislatures and Congress to impose government oversight over the ideas professors teach in their classrooms.

 So far, he&#039;s been rebuffed by more than 20 state legislatures - even South Dakota&#039;s. Why? Because his “examples” of “indoctrination” are groundless (see here , here and here ) – and because universities already have procedures in place to protect students&#039; rights.

 The problem with these procedures is that they require students to actually defend their evidence. Perhaps that&#039;s why Horowitz and his student followers ignore them and lob unsubstantiated allegations from their websites instead.

 Problem is, Horowitz has a lot of money , and some important legislators are listening. This page is dedicated to tracking his misguided campaign and exposing his fraudulent arguments.
