The government has retracted their threats to remove funding from an LGBT youth sucide prevention conference due to the word's "LGBT" in the title:

I have precious little time for my first post, but here are some articles those of you concerned about the state of equality in our country conerning LGBT people might want to be alerted to:

The words "gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered" were removed from the title of a conference meant to focus on the plague of LGBT suicides

The head of the AMA compared being gay to Coca-Cola and rape.

the idiots who tried to start a riot at a gay rights rally here in Philly have had the charges dropped.

Bush is trying to get Bill Pryor into the courts again. This is the same man who wrote a brief defending sodomy laws.
