*Cut to scene of Alberto Gonzales windsurfing*

Narrator: In which direction would Alberto Gonzales lead?

Gonzales voted for torture, opposed it, supported it, and now opposes it again. He bragged about being against abortion before he voted for it. He said he supported Priscilla Owen, before calling her an activist, and then supported her again. He says he respects the will of the people before voting five times to support corporations.

Alberto Gonzales, whichever way the wind blows.

Journey: The Girl from Greenville
Janice Rogers Brown: I'm Janice Rogers Brown and I approve this message.

I was born in a little town called Greenville, Alabama, during the civil rights movement, five years before Brown v. Board of Education. I remember that old house I grew up in, living with my grandmother; we had very limited income. It was in 1965 that I heard about Fred Gray, the civil rights lawyer for Rosa Parks and MLK. And I remember thinking what an incredible country this was, that even black people with no money could make such a difference. That's when I decided I could really do public service, because I cared so much about the people.

After I graduated from law school, I didn't want to make that much money, only make a difference. And I did so on the California Supreme Court, writing decisions to strike down affirmative action and trying to maintain parental consent laws, really making a difference. Now it's exhilarating for me to think as Supreme Court Justice, I can regulate the lives of all Americans and bring conservatism back to the American dream.

Alberto Gonzales: These are the stakes. To make a world in which all of God's Senators can live ... or to go forward with the nuclear option and die.
Announcer: Vote for Alberto Gonzales, a moderate. The stakes are too high for you to stay home.

Proven Record
Narrator: Under the judgeship of Judge Edith Brown Clement , Louisiana has experienced a growth in its population, the number of jobs, and increasingly better weather. Puppy dogs run around happily and the crawdads keep tasting better. She's helped us through crisises such as that hurricane, the other hurricane, yet another hurricane, and September 11th. This coming judicial session, it's clear who to vote for. Edith Brown Clement, a record we can be proud of.
Edith Brown Clement: I'm Edith Brown Clement and I approve this message.

Out of Touch
Announcer: Judge Edith Jones has called for a return of religious principles to the law.
*Flash newspaper clippings*

Alberto Gonzales: I'm Alberto Gonzales and I approve this message.
