It's a big deal and ...

TV morning shows and news nets couldn't even take a breath after announcing the Nobel Peace Prize before asking how it affects 2008 presidential politics, even though it likely will have very little effect. Every show I flipped to made the same insta-pivot, like news robots. Nobel Peace Prize and global warming not newsy enough. OK maybe so, but just take a breath -- and reflect for a second on the achievement by an American leader and on the challenge we face with global warming --and then you can move onto the Cleveland school shooting.

until conservative commentators start calling the prestigious Nobel prizes awash in liberal bias. What a load of bunk.
