Bad? Brilliant?

It is 2021, tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It is up to an underground group of bio-mechanically enhanced conservatives led by Sean Hannity, G. Gordon Liddy and Oliver North to thwart Ambassador Usama Bin Laden's plans to nuke New York City ...And wake the world from an Orwellian nightmare of United Nations- dominated ultra-liberalism.

No, really.

Folks, via my good friend Tom Tomorrow, and already gazed upon in awe by the Campus Progress staff, I give you Liberality For All- the new right-wing comic book starring your favorite conservative college dropout and his two Federally convicted superfriends.

There is, in fact, a full synopsis of the series, but I can't even attempt to excerpt it. You must read it in its entirety. It involves Michael Moore being Vice-President, the U.N. having taken control of the planet, and Sean Hannity having cybernetic-enhanced superpowers.

If you could take every single hyperbolic rant from right-wing punditry about "the left" and compress it into a single comic book, I think it comes close to what we have here. Judging from the first five pages, this thing looks like Ayn Rand on Mescaline.

I'm pre-ordering today, because it's by far going to be the funniest thing I've ever read in my life.

Sad?

I'm not sure if the comic book is just plain sad, or as you put it, very funny!

It does beg the question, "What will they think of next?"

Interesting part, though: From reading the bio of the creator on that website, it almost seems as if he's not a conservative at all -- rather, a very shrewd marketer who sees an undertapped market of.... I'm not sure what, exactly, but an undertapped something.

"Would you rather be blonde on a beach full of blondes, or the only brunette?", he asked.

If he makes a bunch of money off the thing, good for him.

Same as the liberal guys who started that one conservative apparell website (forget which one) that I heard about; making money off the political opposition is all well and good -- think of it as a capitalist redistribution of funds from red to blue. :)

The comic's storyline, though -- I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. Even most conservatives wouldn't want Sean Hannity as their last hope.

It's About Time...

I had so much respect for Elmore from his fantasy work. What the hell happened?

I guess it had to happen at some point. With all of the liberal super heroes we have, conservatives had to strike back for justice. I am just glad the Right has not figured out how close we really are to our Orwellian designs.
