So I link to Slate a lot. I’ll admit it: I’m obsessed. But I can’t help but share an article today about the continuation of the family troubles of Giuliani. There’s one Obama Girl here that he didn’t count on: his daughter Caroline.

According to her Facebook profile, she was a member of the group “Barack Obama (One Million Strong For Barack)” until Slate sent her an inquiry about her membership:

It's not news that Rudy and his two children, Caroline and her 21-year-old brother Andrew, have a rocky relationship. Caroline and Andrew are the children of Donna Hanover, Rudy's second wife. In March, Andrew, who is a junior at Duke, told the New York Times that he and his father had been estranged for some time, and he has spoken candidly about his objections to Giuliani's marriage to Judith Nathan. And after the wedding, the Times reported, Giuliani also stopped attending Caroline's high-school events. Though he went to her high-school graduation, he left without speaking to her and did not join in the post-graduation family celebration, according to the New York Daily News.

There's nothing like political gossip. Thanks Facebook -- this may be even better than Graffiti

How surprising.

Giuliani's daughter is more liberal than Giuliani. I think this might have to do with the fact that she isn't an old white dude.

"gossip" is right

She's not running for anything or actively campaigning for anything. She isn't alledging abuse. She isn't a public figure.

Why is this a legitimate news story?

Because it's funny and because she's the candidate's daughter...honestly, after the Lewinsky Extravaganza(TM), nothing's off limits. And a lot of voters would think it weird that he can't even get his own family's support.
