The Perfect Sunday Brunch

Nothing makes me as happy as a delicious Sunday brunch with incredible friends, interesting stories from the night before accented by a cold mimosa. Unfortunately, my favorite brunch, Solu Restaurant in West Palm Beach, is too far to visit every weekend. Not to mention the fact that none of my friends would be there to catch me up on Saturday night's gossip. I figured I should find a place in the area.

Enter the washington post, what has become my go-to guide (second to social capital of course) for all things DC. I found this incredible article detailing various options for Sunday brunch in the area. Although none of these seem to rival my personal favorite, an all you can eat and drink brunch featuring everything from Belgium waffles and hash brown casserole to steamed lobster and filet mignon, the options are intriguing. Really. Have you ever heard of Caribbean Dim Sum? If so, maybe I'm just uninformed.

These are the ones I plan to check it during the next few weeks:

Flanagan's Harp and Fiddle: This place does more than appeal to my (I'm not kidding) Irish heritage, but also features classic food like bacon, eggs and sausage without immediately causing heart disease. It seems to me that the trip up the red line to Bethesda is more than worth it.

Tandoori Nights: Indian Brunch? Why not?! I basically like anything with chick peas. Add mimosa and a south Asian twist on my favorite meal of the week and you're assured a certain level of satisfaction. I kind of want to go here just to say I've been to Clarendon...

Cafe Atlantico: Carribean Dim Sum. 'Nuff said.

Today's Sartorialist. A rare disagreement. I think the jacket is ill-fitting, the pants are a hair too short and the color of the shirt is nauseating. I must admit, that bag is pretty baller.
