Before you leave: Teaism

I actually had a different title in mind, but seeing the last two posts about how summer is almost over made me change my mind. Teaism, a tea house and restaurant, apparently has three locations in DC. I've only been to the one in Dupont.

As the name suggests, this is a place that takes tea seriously. They also serve various Asian-style dishes and sell cute tea drinker's paraphinalia. The last time I was there I ate some delicious cold noodles with tofu.

I recommend this place for a casual date or place to meet up with friends. It feels a little off the beaten path, although the fact that there are three branches makes me think it's more of an establishment.

Go to Penn Quarter

I love Teaism, but I think the one in Penn Quarter is superior. It's bigger, less crowded, and has free wifi (which the Dupont one, hatefully, does not have).

Yay tea shops.

So glad to see you writing a blog post about a tea shop. :) SOunds like a lovely place, but definitely not without wifi. No wifi is most certainly hateful.
