Dear Social Capital readers, I must admit that I have been holding out on you. There is a place in DC that makes the most ridiculous cocktails, and I have been debating whether or not to share this information with you.

Well, here it is: Chinatown Garden on 619 H street NW is a great place to have a $6 cocktail that will make you feel as if you had drunk the whole bar.

Seriously, that story about breaking my metro card, that happened after one Mai Tai at the Chinatown Garden.

I don't recommend eating the food as it is expensive and not very good. But if you're in Chinatown, are NOT hungry, and would like to experience the sheer joy of a frozen cocktail in a ceramic mug with Tiki, Easter Island Moai, or even a sexy Mermaid-looking lady, this is the place for you. Bring friends, and a sense of humor. Drink slowly.

Part of what makes this place such a fun location to get loose in is that it is not a bar. It's an overpriced family style restaurant with  a large but unappealing menu and a generous bartender.

Alright, readers, now you know everything about DC that I do.  Enjoy!
