Student activism - as - student syndicalism has seen a resurgence recently with the refounding of SDS and the resurfacing of tracts by Carl Davidson and others from the original SDS. They're arguing that student activism, as in single-issue campaigns, isn't enough to really put us on a route to a new world. We need to be fighting to fundamentally change the structure of institutions. I think that's spot-on. For Student Power is a pretty good resource for students who are engaged in these kinds of student syndicalist struggles.
