CNN is reporting that there are at least 22 fatalities and 21 injuries in a pair of shootings early this morning at the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg. One gunman is confirmed dead, another is reported to still be on the loose. Make no mistake, this is the deadliest school shooting in American history.
Here is the statement by University President Charles W. Steger:
The university was struck today with a tragedy of monumental proportions. There were two shootings on campus. In each case, there were fatalities. The university is shocked and horrified that this would befall our campus. I want to extend my deepest, sincerest and most profound sympathies to the families of these victims which include students There are 22 confirmed deaths.
We currently are in the process of notifying families of victims. The Virginia Tech Police are being assisted by numerous other jurisdictions. Crime scenes are being investigated by the FBI, University Police, and State Police. We continue to work to identify the victims impacted by this tragedy. I cannot begin to covey my own personal sense of loss over this senselessness of such an incomprehensible and heinous act The university will immediately set up counseling centers. So far centers have been identified in Ambler Johnson and the Cook Counseling Center to work with our campus community and families.
Here are some of the facts we know:
At about 7:15 a.m. this morning a 911 call came to the University Police Department concerning an event in West Amber Johnston Hall. There were multiple shooting victims. While in the process of investigating, about two hours later the university received reports of a shooting in Norris Hall. The police immediately responded. Victims have been transported to various hospitals in the immediate area in the region to receive emergency treatment.
We will proceed to contact the families of victims as identities are available.
All classes are cancelled and the university is closed for the remainder for the today. The university will open tomorrow at 8 a.m. but classes will be cancelled on Tuesday. The police are currently staging the release of people from campus buildings.
Families wishing to reunite with the students are suggested to meet at the Inn at Virginia Tech. We are making plans for a convocation tomorrow (Tuesday) at noon at Cassell Coliseum for the university community to come together to begin to deal with the tragedy.

Jesus Christ. I can't imagine what those poor kids' families must be going through right now.
The guns could have been bought in West Virgina or Ohio with little background check especially if he showed a NRA membership card!
Laws get overturned for being UNCONSTITUTIONAL. You CAN'T say the Constitution is unconstitutional. To say that someone kept an Amendment from being overturned is to betray both a gross misunderstanding of your own system of government and a very false view of what exactly the NRA does.
If Any of you have a family member with mental illness, you probably know that insurance companies are slow to cover. I know of more than one death that has resulted from this. Health insurance in this country on the whole is a joke. The arguments against socialized insurance have fallen through. Our people are going to Canada for drugs and 3rd world countries for surgery. The only reason I have my left leg was because the Soviet Union fell and the technology came from there to save it. We have the highest infant mortality rate of any industrialized nation.
Don't look for quick answers. Don't think you can stop maddness. Fair is a four letter word that starts with "F". The most heartening thing was the breaking of the myth that kids can't pray in school in the US. The only restrictions on prayer courts have ever put on schools have been that the school can't tell you what to pray.
Prayer is the best answer. Paying attention to each other and to each others needs help. Taking responsibility in parenting counts. I know many people that believe they are great parents that are so busy chasing dollars they don't know that the most important thing any child needs is love. Turn off your TV, tell someone around you how valuable they are. You never know, you may be pulling the fuse on a human bomb, or at least taking the first and most important step. Some students bitterly questioned why the gunman was able to strike a second time, two hours after the bloodshed began.
"What happened today this was ridiculous," student Jason Piatt told CNN. He said the first warning from the university of a shooting on campus came in an e-mail about two hours after the first deadly burst of gunfire. "While they're sending out that e-mail, 22 more people got killed," Piatt said.

First and Foremost, I would like to give ALL thanks to our Heavenly Father for making it possible, His only begotten Son for Dying and Rising on the 3rd day for our Sins, *THANK YOU JESUS* and the Holy Spirit for Comforting Us.*(Jeremiah 1:4-8 and Deuteronomy 1:4-8 is what I'm into now.)* Secondly, I feel that it's time to share some valuable facts regarding how a man should treat his woman and how a woman should know a real man. I would also like to make *note* to all the ladies that read my page, if your looking for *Mr. Pokey Mon* Keep moving please or continue reading so that you can attract, have and maintain/keep your true desires. In other words don't look for something without carefully knowing what you are looking for. *Don't Be Fooled or Played Any More* by your own feelings directing you to go for a physical attraction. We all know that it's costly and can be DEADLY. In other words if you can't be real with yourself how do you expect to attract King, Prince, Mandingo, or what every your looking for, to be real with you. Never tell yourself that it's hard to find what you're looking for, because the moment you express a negative notation it will produce what is sent, for instance if you believe what you are telling yourself and if it doesn't have any understand or knowledge to ones self or clarifying it with your inner-man you WILL continue to go around in circles, Better known as the Dreadful endless moments. Find the Fact's of what it is your in (NEED) of, before you even began in seeking something that could destroy your God given Life, be honest with yourself and ask yourself some positive and honest questions. I would like to suggest knowing the WORD of GOD it will be your guide for your destination. Is this something I really need or do I just want what ever it takes to satisfy my urgent wants. It's almost to say that we (want) things all the time, therefore we don't have any time left to get what we need. Never complain to any one that someone has done some thing wrong when you HAVE all the powers to prevent the matter and/or situation in your life. I want be the one that tell you to keep doing what you're doing unless it's a sound and proven fact that it will carry you to the next level. I will always be the one who Prey's for you and your success in life. If needed, I will help direct and guide you to the places that are needed. It would be a mistake on my part to give you what you want. That isn't an important function of a Real Men. He don't like making mistakes it can be costly and if they aren't careful and caution they could fall into a pit of ungodliness, carelessness, rude, bitter, silly fide, spiritual unclean, arrogant, and last but not less totally disrespectful to themselves, and we all know when one disrespect himself it's no problem in disrespecting others. Note those are not any aspects of a Real Man. Know the truth and facts of those type's of people and assure yourself that, it isn't the character of a Real Man. Ladies keep it in your memory box. It's called the Box of the Do's and Don'ts, remember and stay in touch with inner self *(please)*. In other words be able to discern the deferent's of what people, things or situations are. It's a plus; knowing the Essence of things. *Seek and Ye shall Find* *Knock and It shall Be Open* *Ask and It shall Be Given*, never give up when it's a fact that you are suppose to have the BEST, you are the Head and not the tail; you are BLESSED coming in and BLESSED going out. For the most part you have to know where, and when to look for a Real Man, and I'm quite sure you already know, why you're looking. If not I wouldn't recommend in casting your Pearls in front of swine. It's like saying you will reap what you sow, sow your seed on common ground, meaning know what you really need. I'll be the first to state that I'm not perfect in every area of my life, but I will gladly be the first to say Respect goes a long way. In saying that, respect comes to those whom seek it. It's like Wisdom it only cometh to those whom seek (HER). If a person can't learn; how then can you teach them? And for the person that knows it all then they should be doing what the can to help someone else obtain knowledge. Never be fooled by someone claiming to know everything. Rather feel assure and give credit to those that strive to make a different in this world. All I'm saying is, we can do what we can do, but we should continue PRAYING to do more. Never feel that we will defeat the, principalities, wicked and powers of evil in the higher realms, because it clearly say in the WORD that Jesus will do that. For the most part if at any time we feel a since of wanting a sexual desire. We should find the one that we want to be with, all the time. Look don't play and you want get played. We all know the WORLD isn't square, it's round and what goes around will come around PERIOD. There's no need to place any mental blocks of confusion in your head. If you don't play you want be played or fooled into playing a losing Game. Ask yourself if you really want to be Hurt, or Destroyed. The word clearly note that His people Die for the lack of knowledge. It states a lot more, but I would like to add a couple more. "For those who have an Ear let him hear." "It's Good for *Man* to find a *Woman*." I added my own words to the last saying. Don't commend yourselves for not having what you want, just repent and keep moving. Ladies I would like for you all to take this moment in understanding some Royal Aspects of Attracting, Looking and Keeping your soul mate. Note, don't be the old you and get mad over every little thing or I have known some that wanted to be in control. Too many wants, and no desires. Remember what is stated above, in other words "use your time wisely" I'm not trying to disrespect any of you in anyway, regarding your wants and needs. All I'm saying is a Real Man and The Other Men are different. The others will play all the time until there's no time left. And a Real Man will continue to do what is Best, Right, Just, and Loving for the over all purpose. Below I would like to describe some aspects of a Real Man, the one you really need. He can and will be able to satisfy your Dreams and Desires. One more thing to remember, you're never get what you need unless you stop shopping for what you *want*. Why have a heart full of things that take up valuable space. In other words wouldn't it be nice to have the ALL in one of what you need. Hmmm, that's something to think about. I don't want to get deep, I rather keep it on an common level. Remember keeping it real is what I do.
A REAL MAN:
There's no need for him to prove himself, "it" will show. They know their selves and don't waste any time making excuses. They know how to treat their Woman. They are full of knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Real Men are not known only for their outward beauty but for the responsibilities they accept. They're not into bragging on their sexual powers, for there's no need/reason too. They are confident, powerful and full of *inner-gee* energy. A Real Man will know how to give love, accept love as well as allowing others to love them. Last but not the less, A Real Man Will Do His All to Stay In The *Word* and Do The Will Of GOD!!!
