i'm not sure how to win a $1 happy hour at McFadden's but I seem to be invited to them once a week, so I thought I'd pass on the knowledge. What seems to happen is that someone wins a discount happy hour and all their friends get $1 beers for an hour. It sounds like a great idea right?

Well the hitch is you have to put up with McFaddens.  Some people love it, I on the other hand hate it.  McFadden's is your typically sports bar its loud, and filled with people who want to watch a game.  In addition to that you have to put up with the several hundred people crowded into an absurdly small space for that many people.  During the night there are also a number of contests, which feature wonderful opportunities to get more free or discounted drinks.  Given the noise, and the general lack of cool people I'm not too big a fan, however, enough people are that I thought I'd post about it.  Bottom line is if you show up on a Tuesday night you may very well be able to find out who the "lucky" winner is, and get some cheap drinks.
