It's sexist. Men should be able to wear skirts. I mean, I know we're allowed to… but you'd get some weird looks, and I think that's straight up bigoted. The thing is, though, a skirt is just more practical.
It is hot as Hell's hell outside right now and wool pants are simply a poor choice. Now you might say, there are other, lighter, non-wool options for pants. But all those Southerners out there who waltz around so happily in seersucker are still not free from those torcherous seams enclosing their legs in far too much fabric! There is still the damnable fact that some additional freedom is necessary.
Imagine walking down the sidewalk and not having to worry about the unbearable convection oven that your boxers seem to have morphed into. A skirt would let in a little air.
Guys, women may be checking you out, but odds are they're pitying you and laughing at your unfortunate adherence to the death code, sorry, dress code of Western Business Attire.
