CampusProgress has competition?

So apparently we're not the only progressive fish in the college sea.

Question: Should we foment a rivalry? An annual debate-a-thon between our two collegiate societies? Which of us is Athens, and which is Sparta? Should we deface their blogs with quasi-racist graffiti?

...Er, sorry, that last part was just the voice of George Allen in my head. Anyway!

I notice that from a cursory glance of their website, I have absolutely no idea who's funding them. Anybody care to dig a bit and let me know?

Why do you immediately cast that site as competition to Campus Progress? They presumably share a similar position in the politcal spectrum as CP. Why wouldn't they be an ally?

Simple answer: Rivalries are fun?

Other answer: A matter of comparative advantage. Why have two sites instead of one if they address essentially the same niche market?

Out of curiosity, who sponsors Campus Progress? My original guess is One America, but I could be worng.

At that, does CP also contain many right-wing bloggers? You seem like one ...
