Thank you, Charlotte Allen, for elucidating precisely how and why women are so “dim-witted.”  As an addition to your worthy screed, I’d like to offer a treatise on the superior contributions and tendencies of men that have uplifted our world as a whole.

First, lynch mobs.  Common to societies throughout the world, but perhaps most visible in the U.S., lynch mobs are absolutely brilliant.  Conducting a trial where evidence is presented and deliberated in an unbiased manner?  How stupid.  It’s so much smarter to get a group of men together to murder another man, woman or child (extra points if he or she is Black, Chinese or Native American) based on an accusation!  Let’s hear it for the men!

School shootings are another exhibit in men’s intelligence.  Women are far too stupid to ever open fire in a school cafeteria or a college campus.  No, only men’s superior brains are capable of planning and executing such stunning displays of brilliance.

Rape!  Men are so smart that they rape!  I guess women might commit sexual assault too, but they are by far the outliers—they somehow transcended their inferiority to carry out acts that overwhelmingly are committed by men.  Way to go!

And how could I forget—the most exceptional literary talents of Dan Brown, Michael Crichton and Tom Clancy.  Your virtuosity could never properly be appreciated by women.  I only hope those millions of women sitting around reading second-rate literature by Toni Morrison and Joyce Carol Oates (at the behest of Oprah, no less) get even an inkling of what they’re missing.

Char, I cannot tell you how important your piece has been for me.  All those out there who say that you are just a second-rate writer looking for some attention are HATERS.  You told it like it is.  Go on with your bad self.
