The Washington Post writes about Barton's attempt to "investigate" scientists who have presented results that differ from the GOP pro-business view that global warming does not exist. It seems as though we can investigate scientists who present evidence differing from the world view of those in power. Have we not learned anything from the days of Galileo?
This is a dangerous precedent. I guess as we are seeing in the Wilson-Plame case, there is nothing too low that you can do if you are trying to push your world view on others.
