The New York Times is using the same analogy:

"In the Republican primary, Senator John McCain of Arizona revived his presidential bid with a Lazarus-like win."

How about, "McCain Has Imhotep Like Resurrection, Will Mike Huckabee Be Is Brendan Fraser."

I could go on with cheesy action/sci-fi references, but I think you all get the point.
