Recently Stephen Colbert commented on a great evil plaguing college student all over the country: exposure to ideas you do not agree with.



Yes, believe it or not, a student in college was forced to watch An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore’s power point presentation on global warming in a science class.

If you think students shouldn’t be indoctrinated by being forced to examine ideas different than their own, you should check out all of the right-wing pundits and organizations fighting for more “fair and balanced” universities. Folks, like David Horowitz, Evan Coyne Maloney, and the American Council of Trustees and Alumni are fighting for censorship academic freedom everyday, and hold themselves to a high standard of truthiness.
