Check out the People's Tribunal Against the Death Penalty organized as part of the Alternative Spring Break Against the Death Penalty in Austin, TX last week:

It was a little windy, but more than a little awesome.

This is one of the three alternative spring breaks that Campus Progress helped with this year. Last weekend we hosted students in DC for the Iraq Action Camp, and next week we are heading to UC - Santa Barbara to take on climate change! Check out all of the events at springbreakalternative.org.

No Death Penalty
By Preston Mitchum Mar 21st 2008 at 5:13 pm EDT
After going to this Anti-Death Penalty Action Conference, my life has really been changed. I have ALWAYS been opposed to the death penalty, and this conference just opened my eyes to so many things around us.

There has to be a way that we can stop this racist and classist organized murder by the State.
