Uncle Jesse

God, he makes me want to vomit. And I'm not sure the whites in the audience are aware of the irony they're swimming in.

Oh, those nutty conservatives (Part 2)
So we actually got some political content with the infamous Phyllis Schlafly ranting about "supremicist judges" (because "activist" is too weak of a word for these judges who are attempting to make up new rules for the game by inventing things like the right to an abortion). But that was only the start, the real fun, and well, fear set in Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson who was introduced as the answer to Jesse Jackson. He presented himself as an American, not African-American because those who "see themselves as African are not really American."

He went on to explain that most blacks have "stopped thinking for themselves" and the reason they suffer is "because of a lack of moral character." He believes it is the plan of the left to keep blacks angry so their judgement is clouded which is why they vote for people like Bill Clinton. And this anger "is what's wrong with black people." Furthermore, white people (of which I believe almost the entire audience was) "owe it to black people to be honest [about black's lack of thinking], and if they don't like it, you can always run." This little bit of advice is also how he ended his moral pitch about the problems of his race. But he didn't stop at just black people... the one where I had to truely constrain myself was when he announced it's not only black people, but "we now have Muslim folks moving in and they don't like us... they want to kill us."

I hope by now you are as shocked and appalled as I was at such blatent ignorance and racism. Phyllis is bad enough with her raves that liberals are trying to take over the courts (last time I checked, conservatives had a stronghold there as well), but Rev. Peterson's uninterrupted and often applauded cold hearted rhetoric really made my stomach churn. This is the guidance of the future conservative leaders of America? Yikes.
