I work around the corner from that place. It's a cool space and all, but I always feel like there's some sort of ritualistic sacrifice after they lock up at night.

The Church of Good Coffee
Ebenezers Coffeehouse is one of my favorite local places to get a cup of joe. Yesterday I learned that in addition to making delicious iced espresso drinks, they also have concerts and events including dance lessons and open mic nights.

I also learned that Ebenezer's is owned by a religious organization called the National Community Church. The Community Church has four locations including Ebenezers, Union Station Phoenisx Theaters, Ballston Common Mall Regal Cinemas, and the Georgetown AMC/Lowes Theaters.

As a non-Christian secular coffee drinker, this is all very new to me, but from their website they seem like nice folks.
