O'Reilly's credibility sinking faster than the Titanic

ThinkProgress and The Majority Report have been covering News Corp (the parent company of Fox News) and how they invited everyone to a "holiday party."

Well it turns out that Fox is apparently a full-on combatant in the war on Christmas, since it wasn't their only one. At the end of this post is a scan of an invitation to another NewsCorp "Holiday Party," this one with a Titanic theme, which, in itself, is really, really weird.

So maybe it's time for Bill O'Reilly to start explaining why he's not objecting to his bosses having multiple parties refusing to acknowledge Christmas. (How can his heart possibly go on?)

That explains why I couldn't find a frickin' parking space at Union Station. All I wanted to get was a pack of clove cigarettes from the cig shop. Spent most of the time looking for a parking space.

The "Christmas War" is a frickin' embarrassment. Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are all equally legitimate holidays. Thus, one should always say "Happy Holidays" when addressing the general public, whether in speech or in advertising. It's ALWAYS better to be inclusive.

Bravo to them for asking people to bring perishable food items for the local shelters. More than likely the only respectable thing I've seen News Corp do. More like this please.

Check out This Modern World (www.thismodernworld.com) for an ongoing tally of how much Faux News is using the word Holiday -v- Christmas. Last count I think it was 11 - 0.
