I’m a little late to the game on this but wanted to comment on it anyway. As ThinkProgress and others have noted, the other night Bill O’Reilly managed to reset the bar for his own stupidity and offensiveness when he “challenged John Edwards’ claim that 200,000 veterans ‘will go to sleep under bridges and on grates’ because they are homeless. O’Reilly said, ‘They may be out there, but there’s not many of them out there. Okay? … If you know where’s a veteran, sleeping under a bridge, you call me immediately, and we will make sure that man does not do it.’” He’s wrong, of course. The Washington Postchecked the claim and the number of homeless vets is 195,000. Read More »
Last night, Jon Stewart and the Daily Show's Senior Black Correspondent, Larry Wilmore, brilliantly riffed on Bill O'Reilly's recent remarks about Sylvia's, a historic black restaurant in Harlem, which were ill-informed, racist, and mind-bogglingly clueless, even by his own standards (if you haven't yet heard about this, definitely read this rundown before watching the video).
Big ups to Bill O’Reilly for giving me the heads up that lesbian gangs are terrorizing America, raping young girls, indoctrinating children in the homosexual lifestyle, and beating the crap out of unsuspecting males. Since O’Reilly’s shocking June 21 report, I haven’t dared venture outside alone. I fear for my parents in Philadelphia where O’Reilly reports that “a lesbian gang called DTO, Dykes Taking Over, are allegedly terrorizing people as well."
Here’s O’Reilly, in the words of Radley Balko, “proving once again that when you're a conservative talk show host, the plural of anecdote is panic!”
Not going to bother putting this on the front page since it's basically just an excuse to watch one of the coolest men to ever walk the earth call Bill O'Reilly out like the little bitch that he is, but if you've got some headphones or your speakers turned down, here's Snoop Dogg offering his unedited opinion of Bill-O, courtesy of YouTube and Dutch TV. (Do I even need to advise viewer discretion? It's Snoop Dogg--his uses F-bombs like most people use the word "the.")
