Here is one country whose abortion law has made news. </p>&nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><em>Portugal</em>:</p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><strong>The law</strong> dictates that an abortion can only be performed if the woman&rsquo;s life is in danger, it is to protect the mental and physical health of the mother, or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest. A woman getting an illegal abortion will be prosecuted.</p>&nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><strong>It&rsquo;s making news</strong> because pro-choice advocates want abortion for the first 10 weeks to be legal for all women.
