For 45 years, Edward Kennedy fought for progressive social change in the US Senate, but on Wednesday, the "liberal lion" succumbed to brain cancer.

Here are just a few of the things that Sen. Kennedy helped to accomplished for young people:

1. Lowering the voting age to 18
2. Establishing Americorps
3. Increasing Student Aid

Campus Progress and the Student PIRGs, along with other student and youth organizations nationwide, are collecting photos for a memorial outside of the Senator's office in Washington DC.
