Executive Producer of The War Tapes

Chuck Lacy is Executive Producer of The War Tapes. Filmed in Iraq by members of the New Hampshire National Guard, The War Tapes was winner of the Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival and played theatrically in over 120 cities. Lacy is also Founder and President of The Barred Rock Fund which invests in emerging companies with a strong social purpose. He is founder or director of numerous entrepreneurial ventures including: Hardwick Beef (distributor of grass fed beef), Guayaki Yerbe Mate (imported organic mate), Bakewell Reproductive Center (genetics for grass fed beef production), Gonofone Development Corp (founder of GrameenPhone the largest cell phone company in Bangladesh), and Vermont Mystic Pie (all natural frozen pies). Previously he was President of Ben & Jerry’s. He is also a farmer and produces grass fed beef. He is a graduate of Amherst College (Biology), Cornell University (MBA), and is currently a graduate student in History at Dartmouth College.
