Alternative Spring Break: Combating Climate Change
Want to do more with your spring break this year?
Campus Progress is working with students and several partner organizations to organize the first Global Warming Alternative Spring Break at the University of California – Santa Barbara this March 24-27.
The alternative spring break will include trainings, workshops, and speakers from all aspects of the climate movement, including environmental justice, sustainability, and environmental policy. Located right on the beach, the alternative spring break will better educate, train, and empower students to take action on the climate crisis in their own lives, on their campuses, and on a national scale.
And of course, this is spring break, so students will have time to soak up the sun and relax on the beach, explore the biologically rich California coastline, and meet other students committed to solving the climate crisis.

Sponsorship
Supporter -- $200
Your generous donation at this level will help us provide a travel scholarship to a student to come to Santa Barbara for the alternative spring break program. Your organization or company name and website will be prominently displayed on the alternative spring break website and in the welcome packets for the participants.
Sponsor -- $500
Your five hundred dollar donation will allow us to provide two travel scholarships for students, and provide lodging for four participants. Your hyperlinked logo will appear on the spring break website, and your logo and website will be prominently displayed in the welcome packets for participants.
Partner -- $1,000
As a Partner, you will provide enough support to feed every event participant for one day, and provide two travel stipends to students. You will receive all of the benefits of a sponsor, and have the option of including promotional material in the welcome bag that all participants will receive.
Champion -- $1,500+
Your generous donation will truly make you a champion of young people’s efforts to combat climate change. You will be providing hostel beds for twenty participants, all meals for two participants, and a travel scholarship for a student. As a Champion you will receive all of the benefits of a partner, and have your company name and website included in all mass emails sent by Campus Progress about this event.
