Sign up to organize a response to Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week!

David Horowitz and Young America's Foundation are at it again. Instead of fostering tolerance and engaging in reasoned debate about national security and human rights, they are going to "sit in" on women's studies departments, show films that claim that Islam is an inherently violent religion, and bring right-wing pundits like Ann Coulter to campus.

Want to make sure that you can effectively counter bad speech with more and better speech? Follow these few steps to make your voices heard!

Please note that Campus Progress does not support any attempts to "shut down" any events or activities, or otherwise violate anyone's right to free speech and association. We have and will continue to oppose pie throwing, stage storming, and other activities designed to stop any point of view, no matter how odious, from being heard.

We believe that the best way to counter bad speech is with more and better speech, and will work to give students the information and tools they need to make sure that respectful and reasoned dialogue is not drowned out by intolerance and sensationalism.
